Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-nettool

Once installed Ubuntu 8.10 64 AMD, Firefox takes minutes to load common pages 
such as www.google.com.
I expected to load normal pages in a few seconds, but it takes minutes.
I have a Telefonica 6MB ADSL connection that usually works very  acceptable.
Please help.
