Using Dapper flight 5, I get an unresponsive window when opening shares-
admin if there is anything at all in /etc/exports.
I am using Gnome shares-admin 2.14.0, and gnome-system-tools version
2.14.0-1ubuntu2.

Supposing that your sentence means the configuration dialog does not
respond, I can't confirm this. Which version of Ubuntu and gnome-
system-tools do you use?
