Try : sudo aptitude install linux-backports-modules. It will add the atheros kernel modules which is missing. After this, just use Hardware drivers and reboot. Thank you I tried: sudo aptitude install linux-backports-modules I'm not sure what you meant by using the hardware drivers. I shows under: System, Administration, Hardware drivers.
