Ok. I found out my keyboard did not work on the computer so I finally used another keyboard and typed 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' in the terminal and it worked. I use a AMD64 Ubuntu 9.04 jaunty jackalope OS, while trying to reinstall Firefox after failing to install the FireFox 3.5 from the additional repositories. This is the display I got. it mentioned that I report, which I am doing. On trying to follow instructions ie. you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. The Ubuntu flash plugin loads to a point - says' Saving to: `./adobe-flashplugin_10.0.22.87.orig.tar.gz' gets stuck at 150 K and then skips to other package I guess. Hope this is helpful.
