The log file was produced on intrepid using rhythmbox
0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.3
So the mentioned fix should be already in.
Apparently the problem *is* the filename.
The files, however, start out with innocuous names like
hr2_wissenswert_20090106.mp3.
When using the MTP plugin, a new file
the log suggests that the filename is the issue and not the id3 tag, can
you confirm that's the issue?

With rhythmbox 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.3 on intrepid I find the same
behavior.
Using this version i produced the attached log file. Note that there are two
files transferred to the
palm.
One shows up in the log as

--debug rhythmbox-debug.txt perform the operation in order to
reproduce the bug and attach the resulting file to the report? would be
good also to test the same with intrepid or jaunty to see if the bug is
reproducible with newest
