Binary package hint: nautilus
When I use either the Desktop's "Stretch Icon" or the Zoom/View Size
feature in the Nautilus window, the thumbnail preview icons for PDF and
Postscript (.ps) files do not resize up beyond the 100% zoom size.
The actual icon size does resize properly, but the image of the
thumbnail does not scale up accordingly (see screenshot).
Note that the thumbnail images do seem to scale down properly when
zooming out.
I would love to have scalable PDF and PS preview thumbnails. Also, it
would be more consistent with the behavior of text files and image files
that do seem to scale up.
Note also that in the Nautilus window, this bug occurs with "Icon View",
"List View", and "Compact View". However, the scaling at which the
error occurs seems to change with each view. With "Icon View", the
thumbnails do not scale up after 150%. With "List View", it is 200%.
With "Compact View", it is 200%.
Now, after removing the ~/.thumbnails directory, and refreshing the
directory view (or revisiting it), I see that the bug still occurs.
I.e., recreating the thumbnails did not seem to fix it in any way.
