thanks for the report Tom, are you using compiz? does it happens without
it? which video card and driver are you using? could you attach your
xorg.conf to the report? sounds like a known compiz/video issue.

I am using compiz, it doesn't happen without it, I'm using an Intel
Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller, and will
attach my (entirely generic) xorg.conf
