[Bug 34732] Re: mini-commander missing in 2.14.0ubuntu1

2009-08-13 Thread d3acon
In my opinion deskbar-applet is no appropriate replacement for mini-
commander. If I have to click on the icon first to get to the edit box,
I could press AltF2 too. It would be nice, if it would be included
again. (e.g. openSuSE 11.1 still includes it)

[Bug 34732] Re: mini-commander missing in 2.14.0ubuntu1

2009-02-06 Thread knarf
Now, almost three years after the initial bug report this problem still
remains...

I made a small patch to get rid of all traces of mini-commander in the
gnome-applets package when it is not built. If anyone knows of a valid
reason to keep the server file for a non-existent applet around please
speak up, otherwise please add this patch to the mix so those who choose
not to have their memory eaten by a disfunctional deskbar-applet still
can install an external mini-commander without having to --force-all the
installation.

** Attachment added: Only include mini-commander files when the applet is
actually built
