After using gedit, I can confirm that this is definitely a problem with the gtk file chooser. What command did you use to run valgrind? To clarify, the process still works, but uses almost all of my system resources, dragging along painfully slow. What exact command should I run? is G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly valgrind -v --tool=memcheck --leak-check=full --num-callers=40 --log-file=valgrind.log firefox what I'm supposed to be running? doesn't quite work.
