Hello Pedro,
Thanks for dropping in on this report.
I'm actually still using 10.10 but I can report that Media Player now
plays the file.
I'd mark the bug as solved, however incidentally, but I cannot find a
way to do this.

I should stress that I haven't been able to play this file under any
circumstances so I doubt there are any specific preconditions for the
problem to manifest.

Refusal to play this file is consistent.
The status bar does indicate that the file is being played.
I could send you one of the files (1.9Mb) as an attachment, if you like,
should your files with the same properties fail to show the problem.
