Hi,
the initial error report of 2009 is probably due to a hardware problem
in the computers bus controller, or the cabling, or the drive's bus
controller.

Same bug here. Also, brasero is leaving behind a lot of temporary files
after session is closed with this error:
j ~ ❯❯❯ ls /tmp | grep brasero
brasero-session.log
brasero_tmp_22JU4Y
brasero_tmp_55ZT4Y.md5
brasero_tmp_7FJH4Y
brasero_tmp_9L2R4Y.bin
brasero_tmp_A4JU4Y
brasero_tmp_E3JU4Y
I concur! This should be a higher priority!

Thanks for your report, that's something to send directly upstream at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org by someone having the issue, for forwarding
instructions please read http://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME,
Thanks in advance.

Having read an article about bugs in wodim and all sorts of controversy with
the original cdrtools, I managed to replace the cdrecord and mkisofs on my
system with 'originals' from

A simulation burn passed but my delight was short lived as
A victorious workaround! - I installed Nero Linux Trial 3.5.2.1 and it
so far works beautifully. I've managed to write discs that have so far
failed, using the same ISO images.
Of course I'd rather use the native utilities, however I've abandoned
those until I learn more about this bug, or it
Hi, I've found this error also occurs during 'simulation' mode, so that
should remove my writer hardware and media completely from the equation.
At least I can stop wasting media now as I try different things.
Also, I've found at this forum,

Desperately need to get this resolved, I performed a clean install of
Ubuntu 9.04 and applied all updates.
