Tested it on kubuntu feisty with konqueror, and it works. However, it is
a little bit more complicated in Kubuntu since the partition must be
first enabled through System Settings-Disk Management. However, the
permission can be set there to if users are allowed to mount or unmount
the enabled
Assign to package nautilus, that the mount is called with gksu in order
to ask for password.

I should have said. I tested it on feisty Gnome/nautilus and it works
without problems.
