Pre requisites: ------------------------- Have ubuntu 9.04 Western Digital External harddisk (my book) laptop: dell inspiron 1420 Steps to reproduce: -------------------------- 1. Connect the external hard disk (my book) to ubuntu 2. Close the lid of the laptop and ubuntu will hibernate (power management) 3. Take out the usb cable of the external hard disk 4.
