gedit version is 2.27.4
It's kind of odd~~ I tested it again~
It seems only runing this command below leads gedit crashes.
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
k...@kwan-laptop:~$ sudo gedit
k...@kwan-laptop:~$ sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
k...@kwan-laptop:~$
I'm using Karmic Alpah4, GnomeI doubt it's caused by the gnome keyring
issue, but not for sure.
because deb installer crashed when I open the deb package by double
clicking.

I've tried this right now on Karmic Alpha 4 and it works fine without
any problem.
Please provide details about your environment. Please provide all the
versions of the Ubuntu version you're using, gedit version, etc.
