That looks alright, from dmesg up to gvfs, so this leaves it to nautilus then. If new users don't have this problem, perhaps you simply turned off automounting at some point? Can you please open a file browser, Bearbeiten -> Einstellungen -> "Datentraeger" -> "Datentraeger beim Einlegen oeffnen"? T

yes, thats right. all this output was from just inserting media into the card reader once. here is a part of my fstab. the partitions namend like "movies", "downloads", etc are samba-shares. apida, ultraii & qimonda r my 3 most used sticks or cards. their entrys in fstab are temporary solutions.
