works.
but i think its a bug. i got this problem after the first reboot with
upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10, without any changes in configuration.

That looks alright, from dmesg up to gvfs, so this leaves it to nautilus
then. If new users don't have this problem, perhaps you simply turned
off automounting at some point? Can you please open a file browser,

OK, so gvfs-gdu-volume-monitor did not crash here. However, I noticed
that if you plug in the device named ULTRAII, then it can't
work/automount, since it's part of fstab. Can you please remove it from
fstab and check if it works then?

I see a gvfs-gdu-volume-monitor crash in dmesg, but otherwise the kernel
log looks like you added and removed the card reader medium several
times while the computer was booted. Was this the case, or is the USB
connection bouncy?

card reader once. here is a part of my fstab. the partitions namend
like "movies", "downloads", etc are samba-shares. apida, ultraii &
qimonda r my 3 most used sticks or cards. their entrys in fstab are
temporary solutions.
