Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
After upgrading to Karmic, my screen will not stay in DPMS sleep after the time I have specified in the power management preferences. I have the screen set to turn off after 10 minutes. It does turn off after 10 minutes but a second later it turns back on. This has the side affect of preventing automatic suspend and hibernate after the specified time because the system is never marked as idle long enough.
