There must be a similar line in kdm.conf (as gdm.conf is mostly copied from
it). look for code like the subtracted part I posted above.

Quite likely. The workaround seems to have my system

Synaptic just asked me to replace gdm.conf
this has been redone:
- and (graphics-device-added fb0 PRIMARY_DEVICE_FOR_DISPLAY=1
- or drm-device-added card0 PRIMARY_DEVICE_FOR_DISPLAY=1
+ and (drm-device-added card0 PRIMARY_DEVICE_FOR_DISPLAY=1
How about kdm?

Hi,
I tried to improve the loop in #62. I made this though it is far from
being perfect and probably quite dirty :
modprobe nvidia
until lsmod | grep ^nvidia
do :
done
sleep 2
exec gdm-binary $CONFIG_FILE
I tried to remove the sleep command, but in that case, X always
adding to the desktop set of bugs now. Will have a look on Monday if we
should workaround it or not with a fresh brain :)
