Public bug reported: Binary package hint: yelp
Network manager applet has several issues that need fixing quickly: 1. Setting up a mobile broadband connection works fine. Setting it to system wide availability makes further adjustment impossible. A password dialog appears but the password is not accepted (insufficient privilege). Workaround: Delete the connection and set up as user specific connection 2. Mobile broadband does not connect as long as there are wireless access points in reach. 3. Mobile broadband inserts dns addresses into /etc/resolv.conf on first connection attempt only. All further connections will leave resolv.conf untouched. Workaround: set dns ip addresses in the entry box.
