This happens to me all the time since karmic koala. 'Right click -> send
to' almost always does it. Saving an attachment from an email can do it.

I am also experiencing the same problem after I have upgraded to Karmic.
Up till now, everything was solid and responsive. whenever I open
Evolution and attempt to attach a photo (approx 1.3 - 1.5 mb) the
Evolution windows will go gray, the cpu utilization will hit 100%, and
if I leave it overnig

I add the freeze log obtained with gdb.
I also state the procedure to reproduce the freeze.
1) Open a new message
2) Enter the recipient address
3) Enter message text
4) Save the message to Draft Folder and close it
5) Reopen the message from Draft Folder
6) Add a zip attachment (size 500ko a
