thank you for commenting and closing the bug. Maybe your computer clock
was not correctly set or maybe it didn't like some configuration, anyway
that's fixed now

Actually this looks like two separate bugs -- I just logged in without
using NFS; the kernel error messages are gone, but G-S-D still keeps
dying
