ok this may be your intention but what about inserting a normal hard drive in your system which contains a ready set up filesystem with lots of data. which the installer obviously could not detect. or a CF card on the ide bus. Or the user has no nerves to configure all partititions and mountpoints

Usually hard disk partitions should be mounted through /etc/fstab (with 'auto'), that's how the installer sets them up. So nautilus should just not display unmounted nonremovable drives. ** Summary changed: - Nautilus(pmount) refuses to mount non removable media + do not show unmounted
