Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor
Upon starting gnome-system-monitor, it and dbus-daemon begin to use an entire CPU core, causing other programs to start slowing down if the second core is in use. This is on an AMD X2 4800+. Clicking the cross to close the monitor does not work - it has to be killed through it's own process list.
