Public bug reported:

To produce:

1. Login to a gnome session [Session 1]
2. Switch users from the logout dialog
3. Login to another gnome session [Session 2]
4. Hibernate (or close laptop lid etc.)
5. Unhibernate

After unhibernating you will be presented with the X server for [Session
2] which will have a screensaver lock enabled. However if you switch to
[Session 1] using ctrl-alt-F... this session will be unlocked.

This behaviour is consistent with what would happen if not hibernating,
but it doesn't sound like the behaviour a user would be expecting.

** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
