Having the same here: clicking Other ... to log in with some user name not displayed in the list, there is no password prompt. Subsequent programs handling the login are given an empty password. It is possible to log in, but only with an account not having set a password. --- Sure you'll have to

I just noticed: for every try there is a new X-Console opened. Switching to old ones (using Ctrl-Alt-F7, Ctrl-Alt-F8, ...) mouse will have focus, but not the keyboard. Means: I can drag the mouse cursor arround, but keypresses are ignored. The mouse-keys are ignored too. -- [Lucid] Fails to

I have a similar problem:[lucid] My GDM is in its default state.(i have not changed it like the above user had done) I can log in with a local account (one of the two that is suggests), but when I click other and log in with an ActiveDirectory username, ( DOMAIN\first.last), I do not get
