The bug still happens in Evolution 3.32.2 but I do get an error message
Error loading Calendar cannot open calendar: Unexpected HTTP status
code 2 returned
This is with the copy calendar contents for offline operation box
ticked

Same here with 10.04
= successful synchronization with Copy calendar locally for offline
operation selected
=Appointment appears
Unplug network wire.
Close then open Evolution
=Appointment is not here anymore, a click on the google sync calendar does not
do anything, no error message either.
I think this bug was fixed in evolution 2.30.
I have been using evolution 2.30 from ppa:jacob/evo230 without problems with
google calendar for 1 month .

I upgraded 9.04 to 10.04 RC, and still have this bug. This bug makes
Evolution not usable for me.

Same problem here...
My Google calendar is linked via CalDav. Make available for offline
use is selected in the calendar properties. If I click on the Work
Offline button in the bottom right corner of the Evolution window, a
read-only version of the Google calendar will persist until I close
I'm in the same case. Plus, last week even the local appointements and
tasks disappeared and today, all is back, though I didn't did
anything...
