I personally don't think it's a good idea to clutter up the context menu
for an action you're almost never about to use. If you want to get this
really changed and want to argue your case, I suggest you talk to the
upstream developers, as we're not likely to divert from Upstream for
this reason.
just start gnome-terminal with menubar:
'gnome-terminal --show-menubar'

to clarify:
I don't want a menu, as it takes up valuable terminal space :-)
But I do want to edit my keybindings, and doing that with
- enabling the menu
- edit keybindings
- disable menu
is a kludge

Ack, but that is not the issue. This issue is, that it is inconsistent that
only the keybindings are not configurable in
right click - Edit Current Profile...
but maybe the gnome devs have a good reason for this.
