I just tested from the last daily-live.
I confirm that rhythmbox remember its state: it opens in the state it was when
it has been closed.
(this is bug 270206 )
But, there is another usability bug in this

Any update about this ?
This is paradoxical, Lucid (try to) bring many user experience improvements and
this is clearly a regression to me.
AFAIK, this is even not the upstream behaviour. eg: a vanilla rhythmbox close
when close is push and go into tray by just clicking on the Rhythmbox icon in
there is no new comment so nothing changed there no, you are welcome to
work the issue though since you seem to be interested by it

I have added it to the Papercuts project. Personally, I can't verify if
it is a papercut, but they may be able to help point us in the right
direction.
I can reproduce this in Lucid running on my machine (all made from
upgrades and updates) but I have been doing a lot of testing on clean
builds
In case of any confusion, my 'please verify' comment was directed at
