I have a similar bug. I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and seahorse 2.32.0. from
the repositories.
In fact my CPU goes to 100% only when I open the properties windows in
the Password tab, not in the two other tabs.

I'll note that this is still present in Lucid as of 4 February 2011 for
me, although I didn't have the Xorg usage Phillip reported; just one
core by Seahorse.

Yep, simply right clicking and choosing properties on your unlock
password for: user keys credential pegs both cpus on a dual core system.
One by seahorse, and the other by Xorg. Setting to confirmed.
