I have the same problem. Sometimes i have it, sometimes not.
After reboot sometimes systems comes up normally, sometimes with double icons.

Did you tried to restart the machine after installing the updates?

I did restart the machine twice but still the same problem.
However this morning it seems fine now. I guess you can close the bug.
