Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 Package version: 0.12.8-ubuntu4 This bug looks very similar to Bug #85051 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/85051). But bug #85051 is marked as "Fix Released". The problem: Rhythmbox becomes irresponsive when playing stream and internet connection fails. How to reproduce: - Open Rhythmbox - Start playing a stream (for example mms://netshow3.play.cz/impuls64) - Disable internet connection. I disabled wireless. ( - The connection dies, rhythmbox plays the content of the buffer) - Wait until the buffer is empty. - Now - If you try to start another stream, nothing happens - If you push the "Play" button, Rhythmbox freezes Expected result: - Rhythmbox stops playing and maybe displays an error message. - Then it is ready for next actions Actual result: - Rhythmbox does nothing or freezes.
