This bug directly effects the user experience, and badly reflects on
ubuntu.
you are the first one to complain, most users don't know gconf or how to
change the buttons order and see it has been part of the theme, we did
change the capplet logic to apply different order because some users
note that we have no interest to spend further efforts changing the
logic of what the code is doing now, the ressources are limited lucid
has lot of real bugs that should be fixed, if you are able to tweak a
gconf key you should be able to do the changes you want too, the issue
described my be a
iinitially it will change the order but give you a dialog to revert,
but the first time you select a theme and don't revert, or you choose a
theme that gives you an error message, then you will no longer recieve
the dialog.
the following are absolutly bugs and need to be fixed.
1) it changes the

selected theme one when changing
