I can't confirm this is fixed or not for me, because the crash happened
long time ago, and I cannot reproduce the details. I tried to use it but
didn't see a crash.
Perhaps Rodney Dawes can confirm if he fixed sometimes :).
I would close the bug as fixed.

Marked the bug as incomplete since we have currently no way to reproduce
it. If the bug still happen for you in 8.10 or 9.04alpha, can you just
reopen it ?
