[Bug 646011] Re: Power management considers computer as inactive while playing a video
This also affects me on 10.04. I followed the above hint, but still hapening. While screensaver is disabled, monitor is turned off when watching a full screen movie, what obey me to move mouse periodically, It's a shame! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/646011 Title: Power management considers computer as inactive while playing a video -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 646011] Re: Power management considers computer as inactive while playing a video
http://projects.gnome.org/totem/ Q: Why does my screen go into power saving mode whilst the player is actually playing a video? A: You will either need gnome-screensaver and gnome-power-manager running, or none of those two. Totem talks to gnome-screensaver to stop the screensaver itself, which in turn talks to gnome-power-manager to avoid going into power saving modes. If none of those are running, Totem will use X directly to disable the screensaver. Isn't it the case? ** Tags added: lucid -- Power management considers computer as inactive while playing a video https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/646011 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
