No answer, and also Maverick is now not suported anymore (end of life), setting linux task to invalid. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/657316 Title: Automount of SD cards lead to nautilus and 3g network problems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/657316/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 657316] Re: Automount of SD cards lead to nautilus and 3g network problems
If after you test latest upstream kernel as in comment #28 it works, please test the kernel I provided in https://launchpad.net/~herton/+archive/bug657316 (you will have to sudo apt-get install linux-image-2.6.35-26-generic after adding the repository, or you can manually download and install proper deb found on http://ppa.launchpad.net/herton/bug657316/ubuntu/pool/main/l/linux/ - you may also need to install manually if you have a newer kernel version installed on maverick) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/657316 Title: Automount of SD cards lead to nautilus and 3g network problems -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 657316] Re: Automount of SD cards lead to nautilus and 3g network problems
I suspect also that this card reader needs SDHC 3.0 support which was not yet available on maverick/2.6.35 kernel, but is now on latest upstream kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/657316 Title: Automount of SD cards lead to nautilus and 3g network problems -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 657316] Re: Automount of SD cards lead to nautilus and 3g network problems
Hi Sergio, If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance. [This is an automated message.
