Thank you for your bug. Could you install nautilus-dbg and get a
backtrace of the hang? When that happens open a command line and type
gdb -p $(pidof nautilus) and then on the gdb prompt thread apply all
bt and copy that to a comment

Okay, it's not any large directory that causes a problem.  But this one
(untar it), drag directory into burner seems a robust crash:
