Public bug reported:

When I try to record a video in Cheese Webcam Booth for Ubuntu, it
doesn't work. My picture shows up for a few seconds, then freezes. And
then it stops the video from being recorded automatically. It then takes
me to view the video which is normally 6 seconds long even though I was
recording for around 30 or more, and there is no sound, or even video.
Why is this?
