Ubuntu 11.04 - the Natty Narwhal

i'm totally clueless  about how the freezes occur, it occurs when i'm
browsing, using the email program,  reading or editing a document.  the
pointer and the keyboard suddenly freezes and the system can only be
restored after a reset or a forced power off.
