Is it possible to complete eliminate (or hide) the Nautilus menu on the
desktop?
I have just accepted the automatic update from Ubuntu Natty to Ubuntu Oneiric,
I am using the fallback mode of Gnome 3 (gnome-panel instead of gnome-shell:
This was fixed recently, the desktop now shows the reduced nautilus
menu.

I haven't see a menu, but panel still exists!
