Some investigations:
fish doesn't install anything into *omf*:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ grep omf /var/lib/dpkg/info/fish.list
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$
The fish.prerm script merely runs:
install-docs -r fish
from install-docs(8):
-r docid | --remove docid
Remove the
Daniel, the problem is that fish and gnome-applets use the name fish
namespace, one of the packages need to have its documentation renamed

I somehow reported it against wrong package, s/applets/data/.
I'll vote for fish-applet in gnome-panel-data package to change its docid.
