In essense it is though some things have changed in 11.10/12.04, so
maybe go ahead dupe.
Currently rhythmbox has no Musicbrainz support enabled nor any other
means to rerieve cd info/album art so it's no longer an issue of the
support
Why such decision has been made? Why not give people freedom to choose
software they want to use?
Need to force* people to switch Banshee?
Now, when we are forced to use Banshee, will we be forced to switch back to
Rhythmbox with 12.04?

Well - even though the current RB source in ubuntu has a build-dep on
libmusicbrainz3-dev, support doesn't get enabled.
So I guess that that answers why no support. Would be nice if it could retrieve
the cdinfo somehow.
