I am running Ubuntu 11.10 AMD-64, applied all fixes, tried various
work-arounds, rebooted a few times, and pressing F10 still displays first menu
list. As something of a newbie with Ubuntu, I'll be honest and say that I can't
understand quite a bit of the jargon that goes on - what's gtk?

With workaround from Michał Sawicz, I have another bug.
1. Open some Terminals
2. Press «F10» (tilda typed, delete it)
3. Press Ctrl-D or type «exit»
4. All terminals will crash.
