i confirm this bug with Ubuntu 7.10 final release (update and fresh install). it's really annoying reading garbled words; moreover, i do not understand why All Day appointments appear so small. hope the bug will be fixed; maybe i can do something to help fixing it, if so please tell me. @mikko
