I am having this problem for quite some time, and I cant seem to fix it. I
tried deleting the .gnome .gconf.
It was reset to normal, but the icons got jumbled again after a restart.
I am using ubuntu 8.10 Intepred Ibex on a fairly modern intel core 2
system.
