I am marking this bug as solved since now my Sansa is working both in Nautilus 
and Rhythmbox :D
I guess it was related to this bug:

  When I launch rhythmbox I can see, under Devices:

  Selecting the first displays the tracks.
  Selecting the second (i.e; Media Player), the first (i.e; 2.0 GB Filesystem) 
disappears from Devices  I get the following dmesg:
