And here is another patch, which fixes the handling of .desktop files
with a space in their name (amongst other uri-encodable characters).
The problem was that gnomvfs converts spaces to %20 encoding. I've
fixed this by using gnomevfs's helper functions to do the encoding and
decoding.

select Unread messages in the Show combo box.
mark an unread messages as read. (it should stay in the list)

I'm not entirely convinced that this is a duplicate of bug 66929. That
bug occurs because console-setup puts X's tty into Unicode when X was
expecting it to be in raw mode; the symptoms of that do involve key
repeat, but it's generally not on the

The only way to get rid of those freezes is to comment out Load dri in
xorg.conf. Maybe this should be the default for all modern ATI cards as
a workaround?

I'm on Dapper; so it's 0.3.4-0ubuntu8. I presume you mean what GNOME
theme? it's one of the H2O themes: H2O-gtk2-Amber.
I could restart it with valgrind -- unfortunately it'd be assuming that
this will happen again, and I can't guarantee that :(

It's a data DVD. If I mount it manually, it still does not show up.
If I insert a movie DVD, and mount it manually, it also does not show up.

The only way to reliably fix this is to fix the freedesktop
specification. The underlying problem is that there is no clean way
that meets the specification to override the NoDisplay attribute of the
.desktop file without copying the whole file to the user's applications

I really can't believe this is still unfixed. Do you really want to
release edgy with that ugly cancel icon that can be seen all over the
place and will certainly put off many users?

Steps to reproduce:
- Open menu editor
- Choose any menu on the left side
- Choose new entry
- Enter a name that contains a space,
This time should be roughly equivalent to the time you previously spent
looking at the connection progress dialog. Is it longer with the betas,
or are you primarily reacting to the lack of visual feedback?
The start time should also improve _at least_ some in beta4, but as I do
not recall
