I have just this problem, but I want to add some information:
It is not a Nautilus problem, but a sshfs problem. If I try to make any
modification on the remote filesystem, that is not possible, even from
the console. Nautilus is just suffering the same problem as the rest of
applications.

change user passwords? Just create a test user, then run 'sudo passwd
$USER_LOGIN'. If you get a System Error message even when passwords

When exactly did you upgrade from Karmic? Normally, since beta1, the

Ok it seems a update installed some time between Sunday night and when I posted
#3 mostly fixed beta 1. I can now insert a used or new dvd-rw and brasero will
blank and burn it but after finalising the disk (dvd or cd) it gives me a

I have the same problem but only on one of my machines (both fully
updated) in Lucid. However two of my machines work as expected. I even
created a new user on the buggy machine and get the same symptoms.
Strange problem.
