There is ongoing work on making evolution easier to use on small screens
in the "Evolution Express" branch. The dialogs for "add new account"
have already been improved and are part of evolution in 10.10. The
"express mode" should be switched on by default in the netbook edition
and you can manuall

I can not provide you with the original report due to privacy issues,
however, I attached a sample tex files and a pdf file. Evince creates
the same issues when printing the pdf file.

This comment help on excluding linux and evdev problem.
so run in a console
sudo killall gnome-settings-daemon gnome-power-manager
then hit not woking key, if it works is a g-p-m issue if not is xserver.

or X installed. So, it's not directly connected to X or g-p-m, it's
something else, I think.
