This is still an issue with compiz and mutter but I think those are separate
bugs. AFAIK the compiz issue is not going to be fixed upstream while the mutter

Ubuntu 9.04 but that version hasn't been supported in over a year.
Regular Ubuntu releases are supported for 18 months; if that's not long

I have this problem too with oneiric and with precise and with 3.3.4 (from rico

Even if the problem is still present in gnome-control-center, supposedly
affecting GNOME users, it no longer shows up in Ubuntu. This is due to recently

False battery
Even if i take out the battery and put it back in, it still says i have two
batteries.
And for me, the second battery has no status in the gnome-applet, it just has
blank space, and nothing happens when i click it.
If I open the Power Statistics of the good battery and then click on the broken
