Can you please follow these steps, to provide more information about
the crash?
Install debug symbols for GLib and GTK+ if possible. On Ubuntu, you
can do this by installing the libglib2.0-0-dbg and libgtk2.0-0-dbg
packages.
Run Shotwell under GDB:
$ SHOTWELL_LOG=1 gdb shotwell 21 |
to reproduce, just start evince, no need to do anything else. It also
happens when closing it.
to fix, edit /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.evince and add this line in the
/usr/bin/evince section:
owner /{,var/}run/user/*/dconf/user rw,
then reload the profile with:
sudo apparmor_parser -r

Update... when I logged out and logged back in, then restarted
Evolution, the left-side pane filled with my multiple attempts at
creating EWS and MAPI accounts. So the account gets created, but doesn't

Hi David, I got access to the Emu-0404 card and confirmed that
pavucontrol effectively gives access to all the profiles. As noted in
comment #32, this work around is working but I still feel that masking
all the profiles supported by a sound card is risky. I understand the
initial intend of not
