Well, IMHO bluetooth is one big mess in ubuntu. I'm using a BT headset for nearly 7 years now, and it has NEVER worked without some quirks. Even this would be OK for me, but the quirks differ not only between releases but also between updates. Hence you can never be sure if the headset will work
